She is a powerful girl. She is deeper in the forehand. I tried not to give her too many opportunities and gave balls on her backhand. I was successful with my strategy.
I know I can last three sets now, especially mentally. That was the biggest weapon I had today. I would have been pretty hard on myself if I had lost this match because I had it totally under control.
Maybe I have this little underdog thing now, not being out there for three years and coming back. You've seen that in the past with some other athletes and it's nice to feel the same way.
It felt more like a soccer match out there. She is not very big built and when she hits that forehand, you think 'Whoa! Where did that come from?' But she needs to be more consistent.
I enjoy being back. Just every tournament is a new one, and right now I really am happy to be playing and at that level again.
He's the man right now in mixed doubles and also in doubles. Just next to him, it gives you so much satisfaction and security that you have to put the serve and returns in and he does the rest. You have someone to carry you all the way.
Everybody wants to grow up sometime. And you have to experience that maybe it's not going to work out the way you expected it to.
She is a solid player, the one to beat in tomorrow's final. I lost to a great player today. She is playing her best tennis. However, I wouldn't say that I am playing bad tennis. I am improving with every outing. I know there are certain areas in which I can improve.
It's always special to play Lindsay. She's the one you've been aiming for all these years and she's still there. You definitely find out where you're at, what your potential is. I'm there and I'm back.
I thought I finally beat a top 20, but definitely it's sweet to beat the number three seed.
Her biggest strength is she serves well and is mentally tough. I've always said I wanted to play her and now I'll get my chance.
She hits it very fast and deep. That's the difference in today's game. (Players) are more relentless. From the beginning to the end, you have to be 100 percent focused. It comes with the physique and the power.
I think it's just everything turned out well if you have the right people around you, you realize the support they give you and the trust too.
I'm just waiting for a wild card to play in the Australian Open . To face Anna will be a good test for me.
