Maybe I have this little underdog thing now, not being out there for three years and coming back. You've seen that in the past with some other athletes and it's nice to feel the same way.
Maybe all these three years, I freshened up a little. I'm just really enjoying every second of being around here.
There are people in the locker room talking about the players' party tonight. I'm like, 'What? What are you talking about? At the Delano? Oh, really. I think I have to play on Friday. But maybe after I'll have plenty of time to (go out).' Definitely, South Beach is one of the places you always like to visit. I'll give myself a few days, hopefully over a week, to go there.
You still hope, you know? I mean, I thought it might be out, but it was a very close call, so you can. Maybe something happens.
Everybody wants to grow up sometime. And you have to experience that maybe it's not going to work out the way you expected it to.
I think it was like sometimes in life things happen and you try to change them and if you learn from mistakes, it's always a good thing.
I saw her when she was 12 and she was very good even then. You could hear her from like 10 courts further down.
Playing the top players you have to play them over and over. You have to start believing and step by step I'm getting my confidence back.
I think just to be more patient sometimes - that you can't have everything at once, but learn to deal with your feelings a little bit better.
I thought I finally beat a top 20, but definitely it's sweet to beat the number three seed.
Melbourne gave me a lot of confidence. And I think that confidence showed here today. I've been improving every week I play.
I wouldn't necessarily say the draw has opened because she lost. I still have to go out there and do my best.
Just wait until the next matches, I'll be even better. You have to have a high percentage of first serves otherwise these girls today are going to kill you. They're very aggressive and they attack right away.
Just wait until the next matches, I'll be even better.
